Top Three Stretches For The Quads

Regular exercise is essential to fitness. Strength training and cardiovascular exercise increases lean muscle mass and encourages the body to burn more calories while at rest. Before exercising, it is important to stretch properly to avoid injuring the muscles being worked. These three exercises do not require a great deal of workout equipment, only an exercise band is necessary to perform these quad stretches. You may want to place an exercise mat on the floor before beginning.

The thigh is comprised of three sets of muscles, the hamstrings, the adductors and the quadriceps. The quadriceps muscles are located in the front of the thigh and are primarily used for running, jumping and for speed. These muscles are susceptible to injury if proper stretching does not occur before exercise. Some symptoms of a quad strain include pain and difficulty moving the affected muscle.

There are three main stretching exercises that will help prevent muscle strains in the quadriceps.

One of the best stretching exercises for this muscle group is the all fours quad stretch. To perform this exercise, get on all fours with your hands and knees touching the floor. Lift one leg off the floor and grasp your ankle. Gently tug on your leg and hold for a count of 30. Lower your leg and repeat on the opposite leg. Complete 10 stretches on each side. This movement will provide a gentle stretch for both your quadriceps and hamstring muscles.

Another excellent stretching exercise for the quads is the hip flexor and quad stretch. This movement is for intermediate to advanced exercisers. To perform this stretching exercise, lie face down on the floor and bend one knee. Loop an exercise band around the toe of your shoe. Gently pull on the exercise band with both hands, extend the hip and flex the knee. When performed correctly, your hip and knee with both be raised from the floor. Hold the stretch for a count of 20. This exercise places tension on the hip flexors and quad muscles and will prepare these muscles for more intense exercise such as weight lifting.

Iron crosses are another exercise that will stretch your quads. Lie face down on the floor, extending your arms out to the side. Place your palms down on the floor. To perform iron crosses, bend one knee and turn your upper body until the leg comes across your body. Try to touch your knee to the ground, near the opposite hand of your body. Gently return to the starting position on your back and repeat on the opposite leg. Continue alternating legs until you have completed 15 to 20 repetitions.

When exercising for fitness, these three stretching exercises will prepare your quads for the hard work to come. Not only do these moves prevent injury, but they will help you become more flexible which is important as you age. Always stop exercising if you feel pain in your quadriceps or anywhere else in your body.

What If I Fail On Medifast? Tips To Ease These Fears

I sometimes hear from folks who are interested in the Medifast diet, but who have their doubts about it. Some common comments are things like: "what if I am the exception to the rule and Medifast doesn't work for me?" Or "what if I'm one of those few people who don't lose any weight at all on the diet? What if it's a complete failure and waste of time? What if I actually gain weight?" These are actually very common concerns. I had the same type of thoughts also. No one wants to waste their time or look around and see every one else's success while they themselves aren't enjoying any success or weight loss of their own. But, although these types of doubts are normal and common, it's my experience and opinion that allowing these doubts to derail you or to stop you from trying actually puts you at risk for failing before you even try. In the following article, I'll offer some tips on how to deal with these doubts if you are having them.

Try To Look At It Objectively: It's amazing how many of us suspect that we are going to be the exception. I feared that all of my coworkers who started dieting at the same time as me would lose weight while I would not. I imagined them buying new clothes while I just stood by in my old ones. I was ignoring all of the studies which showed success as simple math that even I could calculate. Most people understand that if you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight. Since I would be taking in well under 1500 calories per day on Medifast and I knew that the average moderately active female burns 1,800 to 2,200 calories per day, it was obvious even to me that I would be taking in less than I burned which resulted in weight loss. So unless I planned to cheat horribly or quit, there was really no reason why I shouldn't be successful. It may help you to look at your own situation with these numbers in mind. Also, even a slight amount of exercise will help these numbers to look even better. So while it's tempting to think that you're going to be the odd man out, try to think of it objectively. It's a simple matter of calories in and calories out. Unless you plan to take in more calories than are directed, there is no reason to believe that you won't have some success.

Tell Yourself That You Will Wait And See Rather Than Sabotage Yourself Before You Even Start: It's just human nature to be tempted to quit before you even try. Tell yourself that you will give yourself a fair chance and that you will just wait and see what type of success you have. I finally just decided that I would give myself a month before I even made any judgements about my performance. This helped to take the pressure off and allowed me to just let things unfold without sabotaging myself. So to answer the question posed, I'd answer that if you don't have the success that you'd like, you would hopefully reevaluate and try again. But it's my opinion and experience that the diet is set up to take in fewer calories than you are burning and therefore, many people are pleasantly surprised when their fears and doubts aren't realized.

2010 Dietary Guidelines Recommends Mediterranean Diet

The 2010 dietary guidelines for Americans recommends the traditional Mediterranean diet as a healthy alternative to the average American diet. These guidelines were released on Jan 31, 2011 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The guidelines are based on the findings of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. This Committee was comprised of scientific experts who reviewed the most recent research into diet and health and used it to create a scientific report based on solid evidence.

A press release quotes the secretary of the US department of Agriculture as saying...

"The 2010 Dietary Guidelines are being released at a time when the majority of adults and one in three children is overweight or obese and this is a crisis that we can no longer ignore," said Secretary Vilsack. "These new and improved dietary recommendations give individuals the information to make thoughtful choices of healthier foods in the right portions and to complement those choices with physical activity. The bottom line is that most Americans need to trim our waistlines to reduce the risk of developing diet-related chronic disease. Improving our eating habits is not only good for every individual and family, but also for our country."

The purpose of the dietary guidelines is to educate people with the findings of recent research into health and diet. They will be used to assist health and nutrition experts to create educational materials that will be made available to the general public and special groups like school age children. They will also be used to design and run nutrition programs, including the Federal nutrition assistance and education programs.

The core message of the guidelines is about making healthy food choices, based on nutrient dense foods and drinks rather than calorie dense ones. What does this mean? Nutrient dense foods are foods that are vitamin and mineral rich. These foods are close to their natural state, e.g. fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, fruit juice etc. Calorie dense foods are those which are high in sugar and calories and are processed until they have very few nutrients left. Eg. processed cereals like coco pops and fruit loops, processed snacks like crisps and cookies, processed meats like chicken nuggets, hamburgers, sausages and drinks like soda. In America today, most people consume far too many calories and not enough nutrients. This causes them to be overweight while being chronically under nourished and this leads to health issues like heart disease, stroke, type II diabetes etc.

But why would the they recommend a traditional Mediterranean diet as an alternative? Because this diet is based upon fresh fruit, vegetables, seeds, nuts, fish and seafood with less red meat, sweets, poultry and dairy products than the average American diet. Mediterraneans rarely eat processed foods and most foods are either raw or only lightly cooked. Their diet is high in vitamins, minerals, protein, anti oxidants and essential fatty acids like Omega 3 while being low in toxins and saturated fats that lead to a host of chronic health issues.

For example, according to

  • France: 39.8 deaths per 100,000

  • Spain: 53.8 deaths per 100,000

  • Italy: 65.2 deaths per 100,000

  • Greece: 68.8 deaths per 100,000

All of these figures are impressive but particularly the French figure considering it is just over one third of the worldwide figure. Seems that overall, people who practice a traditional Mediterranean diet are much healthier than the average American.

How To Overcome Stuttering - Avoid These 5 Traps!

I had been a victim of these for YEARS. Dont do the mistakes I did. Dont fall into these traps.

Here are the 5 myths about overcoming stuttering. Knowing these will help you to avoid these mistakes that take YEARS for most people to realize. On the other hand, being aware of these myths will make everything easier, shorter and a lot more effective for you.

1- Overcoming Stuttering Is About "Fixing" It

A lot of marketing Ive seen in our community is based on this promise, so you need to be extra careful with this. Most organizations/individuals communicate the idea of "Come along and we teach you a stuttering technique which you can fix your stuttering with".

No, no, no. Never ever fall into this trap. Its the worst mindset you can have if you want to overcome stuttering.

Overcoming stuttering is NOT about fixing it, it is about DISSOLVING it.

2- Learning Some Physical Stuttering Techniques Is Enough To Overcome Stuttering

This may be true in some very rare cases, but in general any PWS(person who stutters) need a holistic, multi-approach strategy to deal with and overcome stuttering.

You should never underestimate the importance of the mental side of the equation. Your mindset is so CRITICAL when it comes to overcoming your stuttering challenge. Your thoughts, your emotions, your perceptions, your beliefs and the way you approach the problem is very critical and need to be addressed correctly.

3- There Is Nothing That Can Be Done For Stuttering

Have you ever been on internet forums, discussion groups or even support groups where people constantly spread their negative energy and claim that there is nothing that can be done for stuttering?

They defend this "beyond genius" idea with some "scientific studies". They dont know how to defend it but all they say is "stuttering is a neurological flaw", "stuttering is genetic" and things along those lines to prove that there is nothing that can be done for stuttering and nobody should waste time trying to improve their speech.

I call these people "born failures who suck motivation from possible winners".

No matter what the core reason of stuttering is, there is a solution to it. It is definitely possible to IMPROVE your speech to a great level and eventually overcome stuttering.

If the hypothesis "there is nothing that can be done for stuttering" is true, then could anyone please explain me how on earth there are hundreds of stutterers who successfully overcame stuttering?

Yes, curing stuttering is not possible yet, but you can learn to improve your speech to a great level where stuttering would not be an issue in your life anymore, it would not be an obstacle on your way to live the life you desire.

4- Some People Can Overcome Stuttering Because They Are "Special"

No, nobody is special. I personally met hundreds of those people and no one was different than any PWS. They did not have anything "special" that you dont have.

All they had and did different was; they learned WHAT to do and HOW to do it... and most important of all, they didnt let that knowledge sit on their bookshelf or on their computers hard drive and they TOOK ACTION.

Nobody is more special than you are. Nobody was better than you are or less severe or more smart or anything like that... they just FOLLOWED WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE!

5- If You Want, Try And Work Enough On It, You Should Be Able To Overcome Stuttering

No, no matter how much you want or how hard you try, you cannot succeed in overcoming stuttering UNLESS you know what to do, how to do and when to do it.

Wanting, trying and working hard is not enough to overcome stuttering. If you dont learn the RIGHT KNOWLEDGE and APPLY it the RIGHT WAY, I am afraid nothing would get you your desired outcome. You want results, therefore you need to learn from people who already got those results.

The best way to achieve a goal is to analyze people who ALREADY ACHIEVED that goal and follow what they did.

Would you like to learn HOW they did it?

The Paleo Diet - Can We Really Be Healthy And Lose Weight By Eating Like Our Caveman Ancestors?

If we're being honest, most of us could probably eat more healthily, especially those of us who are looking to lose some weight.

However, knowing this and doing something about it are two completely different things; and our quest to be healthier is made even harder by the number of conflicting opinions about exactly what types of foods we should be eating.

It seems there's always a new 'superfood' we should be including in our meals, or yet another diet that will help the weight to simply fall off.

One diet that has received a lot of attention recently is the Paleo Diet, even though it was first introduced in the 70′s, and is based on foods we were supposed to have eaten many thousands of years ago.

But, can going back to the diet supposedly enjoyed by our caveman ancestors really be a healthier alternative? Will turning our back on thousands of years of development in the way we grow, prepare and eat food really help us to lose weight and lessen the risk of disease?

Then And Now

So what's the difference between what we eat now and what our ancestors ate hundreds of thousands of years ago? Quite a lot apparently.

Also known as the Paleolithic, Caveman or Stone Age Diet, the Paleo Diet advocates the kind of foods that were eaten by our ancestors during the Paleolithic era, hence the name. This was a period of about 2.5 million years which ended around 10,000 years ago.

During that time, it's suggested that our diet consisted primarily of fish, meat, vegetables, fruits and nuts.

One of the things that brought the Paleolithic period to an end about 10,000 years ago, was the development of agriculture. This is what drastically altered our everyday diet, as we started to eat things like grain, potatoes and dairy products.

Foods like these had been around for many years before this agricultural revolution, but without the ability to properly process and cook them, they would have been harmful to eat.

Fast forward a few thousand years and the modern diet refined and processed these 'new' foods we were eating, and also added things like salt and sugar for good measure too.

All in all a very different diet to that enjoyed by our caveman cousins and, as supporters of the Paleo and other diets argue, something that has had a significant impact on our health.

What Makes The Caveman Diet Better?

It is claimed to be a much healthier diet of foods that our bodies are used to eating. That is, over the hundreds of thousands of years our ancestors were 'hunter-gatherers', surviving on grass-fed meat, fish, plants, vegetables and fruits, this is the kind of diet our bodies got used to.

Which means that when this changed to include grains, potatoes, and dairy products, our bodies were less able to process these foods, which contributed to a range of health issues. But what is it that makes these foods so bad?

One of the key components of the types of food Paleo Diet supporters say should be avoided is lectins. These are proteins which are found in most plants, but especially in foods like grains, nuts and potatoes.

They act as the plant's natural defense against bacteria, insects, rodents, and pretty much anything else that might want to eat it - including us. These lectins can trigger an allergic reaction in the human body, and may even be contributing factors to diseases such as diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis.

Excluding these lectin-containing foods from our diet, and replacing them with the foods our bodies have evolved to process, is the basic idea behind the diet.

As well as being healthier, the fact that many of the foods you are meant to avoid are typically high in carbohydrates, also helps to explain why this particular diet has been favored by those who are looking to lose weight.

But, is eating more meat and simply avoiding all foods containing lectins really the secret to a healthier diet?

The Drawbacks Of Eating Paleo

The Paleo Diet diet is based on the 'hunter-gatherer' model, but it would be a little simplistic to assume that all hunter-gatherers, whether living now or in Paleolithic times, had exactly the same diet.

While it's assumed that the environment of humans back then provided them with a diet that was roughly 65% meat and 35% plants, some modern-day tribes that are a perfect example of the hunter-gatherer lifestyle, survive very well on the exact opposite - 35% meat and 65% plant foods.

Plus, meat today isn't quite the same as the meat that the cavemen ate.

Our Stone Age ancestors wouldn't have strolled down to the supermarket to pick up their mass-produced cuts of woolly mammoth, which had been pumped full of growth hormones, antibiotics and pesticides.

Even the more organically raised meats recommended by many Paleo advocates are still going to be very different from the meats collected by the original hunter-gatherers.

And, assuming we are able to obtain the best quality grass-fed meat, eating meat produces acid which the body deals with by using various minerals to neutralize it and convert it into acid salts.

Unfortunately, a diet that is high in meat may mean the body doesn't have enough readily available minerals to neutralize the acid produced, so it needs to take minerals out of the skin and bones which potentially opens the door for a number of illnesses, including osteoporosis and cancer.

Too much meat can also reduce the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut and colon, and a subsequent increase in the amount of harmful bacteria; and men and women who eat diets high in red meat have been found to be more at risk of certain types of cancer.

With regards to the suggestion that lectins need to be excluded from our diet, this could prove quite difficult to achieve.

All foods contain lectins, and it does seem a little contradictory to suggest that you should avoid eating grains because they contain lectins, but you should eat plenty of meat - which typically comes from animals that might have been raised on the grains and other foods the diet suggests you avoid.

If the animals we eat are eating lectins, won't the meat they give us contain lectins? After all, this is one of the reasons the Paleo diet tells us to avoid dairy products.

The Paleo Diet Might Not Have All The Answers

Just because our caveman ancestors ate the foods recommended by the Paleo Diet doesn't necessarily mean they did so because they were healthy, it was more likely because that's what was around at the time.

So, this may in fact mean that, just as cavemen in different regions evolved to eat different foods (because that's what was available), we will adapt and evolve to eat the beans, grains and dairy products we've been eating for many thousands of years.

In fact, many modern civilizations survived very well on non-Paleo foods like vegetables and grains, and it wasn't until the modern Western diet of refined and processed foods was introduced that they started to see an increase in the kind of health issues the Paleo Diet is supposed to avoid.

Also, as a very general comparison, if this diet was a much healthier option, those who eat a lot of meat should be healthier than those who eat a lot of vegetables, and it doesn't take a degree in nutrition or a scientific study to realize that that's generally not the case.

It does seem that, while eating Paleo does have some merit, it's not a case of saying that the foods our ancestors ate were the healthiest, it's more a case of saying that the heavily processed foods many of us eat today definitely aren't.

Does The Paleo Diet Work?

While the hard-core advice of this diet may raise a few more questions than it answers, there is still some very sound logic in it that could help those who are looking to lose weight, or those who are simply wanting to eat a healthier diet.

Many nutritionists suggest that eating less of the foods the Paleo Diet says to avoid, and a balance of those it recommends, would be a good way to improve your health and help you to lose weight.

So, while you'd expect there to be some sense in a diet that's been thousands of years in the making, if you want to lose a few pounds and feel a little healthier, you probably don't need to go back to the Stone Age to do so.

What Exactly Is the Paleo Diet Program?

The paleo diet program has become popular recently thanks to the amount of beneficial results folks have had, where no other diet would work. The paleo diet is a form of a low-carb diet that is actually implemented as more of a way of living than a diet. It calls for dedication. It demands change. It yields results. You have to find paleo diet recipes. You need to eat a paleo breakfast, a paleo lunch, and a paleo dinner. I don't always snack, but when I do, its paleo.

The key rule of the paleo diet is to eat like our ancestors, the cavemen. Cavemen didn't have farming and constantly had to hunt and gather for their meals. They survived on a diet of meat, fish, berries, fruit, roots, nuts, and vegetables. They were furthermore active and had to be physically in good shape to safeguard themselves and their families. There were no guns (the great equalizer) or even crossbows.

The paleo diet seeks to imitate the cavemen by foregoing carbs, eating a couple large meals every day, consuming a lot of animal fat, and ideally eating lots of organic produce. While typically animal fat is demonized as a cause of being overweight, a month or two eating as a caveman will teach you that carbohydrates are the real primary cause.

The main difference between this diet and previous low-carb diets, such as the Atkins, is that this is a way of living in addition to a diet. You can still eat fruits with this diet, even the ones with lots of natural sugar. It is all right if you slip-up every now and then. The key is to follow an 80%/20% principle; stay rigid to the program 80% of the time and don't worry if you slip up in the other 20%.

The diet works by schooling your body to begin digesting your body fat for your energy instead of using carbohydrates as in a normal American diet. Carbohydrates are not evil, it is just in our present state of civilization where many of us work in careers that call for little or no physical exercise, we don't need them. Eating more than half of your daily calorie consumption in carbohydrates when you are not an endurance athlete and asking yourself why you are obese is like wearing a winter coat to Miami and asking yourself why you are sweaty. By getting rid of carbohydrates from the diet and instead consuming your calories from animal fat and produce, your body is taught to break down fat instead of carbohydrates for energy.

So where to get started? For some people this diet is a substantial change to the status quo, and if you've been eating a particular way for most of your adult life it is not easy to switch at the flip of a coin. Here are a couple steps to help get you on the right path:

1. Discard all of your processed foods
This is an absolute must. It doesn't matter if you are getting with the paleo plan or if you are on a standard calorie-counting diet, processed foods are the most detrimental thing you can put into your system food-wise. They have chemical substances used to make manufacturing easier and faster, usually too much salt, low quality ingredients, virtually no nutritional value, and are often strictly simple carbohydrates. You ever ask yourself why most coupons are marketed only for this junk? Because it's trash and everyone knows it.

2. Get rid of fast food.
This may be challenging for people who live on a tight schedule, but you got to take care of yourself. Have you read recently that McDonalds just now eliminated a pink slime chemical (some form of ammonium) from their burgers because someone ratted them out to the press? Think about that for a moment. Pink slime. Makes me gag. They use the lowest quality meat at these places to make it cheap and quick to cook.

Three Best Weight Loss Programs Reviewed

Here are the top three weight loss programs of 2011. Experts from several sources have researched each program and followed actual dieters around to gauge success. The Weight Watchers Diet has been named the best. Additionally, it is also the diet program that gives dieters the best chance in keeping the weight off.

Best Weight Loss Programs

1. Weight Watchers Diet

The Weight Watchers Diet has been declared to be the best of the weight loss programs currently available. This popular diet is based on points. You can eat anything you like on this diet, there are no foods off-limits. You will not have to buy any prepackaged foods, or pills. Then how does it work?

The website features a database containing over 40000 different foods, all labeled with points based on their nutritional value. That double cheeseburger will taste great, but it will cost a week's worth of desserts. The weight watchers plan will help you drop pounds and keep them off. Experts have chosen Weight Watchers as the best overall plan for both short-term and long-term weight loss. The plan is scalable to fit different budgets, and commitments.

2. Biggest Loser Diet

This diet plan is based on the core principles of regular exercise and healthy eating. The Biggest Loser Diet is ranked just behind Weight Watchers for a solid number two spot. The diet plan not only teaches healthy eating habits, but also features a good dose of physical activity that should work for dieters. Experts have also stated that the Biggest Loser diet is very effective for short-term weight loss and that dieters can expect average results for the long-term.

3. Jenny Craig Diet

Rounding out the top three, the Jenny Craig diet is another diet program nearing 30 years old. Jenny Craig, or Jenny, as the company would like to be thought of now, is also well known for its superior emotional support. It is the support that has really won over the researchers and they appreciated the weekly one-on-one counseling sessions. A few holdouts expressed concerns of whether or not the dieters would be capable of keeping the weight off once they are done with the prepackaged foods. Jenny has been known for prepackaged foods since its inception, and the concern is understandable. However the company has adapted well and in addition to the meals, and the counseling, they also offer tried and true recipes. If a dieter feels as though they may suffer a relapse all they have to do is call the 24 hour hotline to receive the support they need.

There are countless diet plans and programs out on the market today. Dieting seems almost like a fad rather than a honest health choice. However, these well engineered diet plans dieters are setup for success from the beginning, and will be able to not only lose weight, but keep it off.

The Best Way to Get Rid of Acne Naturally

If you are having serious problems with the way you look because of acne breakout, I bet you must be desperate to find out the best way to get rid of acne. Though acne affects mainly young people it does occur in some older people as well. You can implement some simple measures that will naturally get rid of acne.

Keep your face clean. Wash your face at least once a day. If possible use soap and water. In case you are sensitive to soap, try to use a mild form, and scrub your face. Rinse with plenty of water.

You can also use acne cream if you have a full or partial breakout of acne. Apply the cream several times a day. Use pore cleansers which can be found in cream or pad forms.

Avoid squeezing pimples. You will only make the situation to seem worse. If you really have to pop a pimple, get a safety pin and poke little holes and then gently squeeze it.

Too much sugar is not helpful in the war against acne. Snacks filled with sugar such as soda and candy usually leads to an outbreak. Take such products in moderation.

Get a good nights sleep. Your body heals faster while you sleep. Apply acne cream just before going to bed to ensure that your face gets plenty of time to heal.

Reduce stress. Believe it or not if you are stressful, you are more likely to get a breakout. Relax and unwind after a hard day. Sometimes you can feel overwhelmed by different situations, so make sure you have some down time.

Ensure you get enough vitamins daily. Vitamins and minerals fight the bacteria that cause acne.

Do not touch your face with unwashed hands. Hands come into contact with a lot of germs and this can spread bacteria to your face.

Use the sun to your advantage. Moderate doses of Ultraviolet from the sun will dry your skin more so in areas affected by acne. Sunlight helps to activate Vitamin K in your body, which can be useful in fighting acne.

Relax, dont feel like having an acne outbreak is the end of the world. At one point or the other everyone gets acne. Your confidence is key in keeping acne breakout to a minimum.

These are practical guides that will be of help. In case you want a more permanent solution and for more information on acne free skin and the best product to use please CLICK HERE

Anabolic Diet and How It Works

Exercise! Diet! Proper Sleep! These are the main elements on having a healthy and proper body. Not to mention, discipline. Having a well body and mind makes us more confident about ourselves and our well-being. We can flaunt our body and be proud of who you are. Friends and acquaintances even envy us if we have that well-toned and well-maintained body everybody wants to have. Your partner will love you even more. Ha-ha, that's a fact. No kidding. If you have a better confidence in yourself, then your partner will trust you and even as I say love you more. They will even get jealous if other people will admire you for having a great body. Isn't it?

Now we go back to diet. Eating less does not mean that you have a great diet. Eating less does not also mean that you are doing a great job to make your body become fitter. Well, we all know that eating also a lot does not make your body earn that fit and sexy body we all want. There is a proper diet for each body type that will also work for us. One diet program that works for me may not be proper for you. Most of the time, it would work on anyone but there are exceptions. Here comes the anabolic diet.

The anabolic diet will help you get rid of the bulges on your body that you have been trying to get out and avoid for many years. Foods that belong to this diet are fruits, vegetables and the like. Most of us know that eating foods rich in carbohydrates will keep our weight heavier and will not help us get rid of the pounds that we do not want. But carbohydrates are also important for our diet. We just have to take it in a moderate way. Be honest, we do not want to become more and heavier than what we were before. Except when you are really that thin and need to gain weight to make your body look sexier. Remember that being thin does not mean that you are sexy. For most of us, if you are thin then you may have a sickness that eats a lot of nutrients in your body. Being sexy means that you are in a proper body with the proper curves and bulges you should have. Well, you know what bulges I am talking about.

The proper foods for us are these ones rich in protein as these proteins help us build our body in a proper way. Protein rich foods do not make us fat. It builds muscles and helps make our bodies firm so we do not have any unwanted sagging flesh in our body. With the help of anabolic diet, we will know which food we are going to take and foods we are certainly going to avoid.

Taking Off 3 Days From NutriSystem: Would You Still Lose Weight?

I sometimes hear from people who want to try a more flexible form of NutriSystem. Many want to take meals or days off and they wonder if they will still lose weight. I heard from someone who wanted to take off every Friday through Sunday, but she worried if she would still see the results that she wanted. She asked, in part: "if I took three days off every week on NutriSystem, would I still lose weight? I want to take off every Friday and every weekend so that I can enjoy meals with my family. But would I still see results if I did this?"

While it's impossible for me to see into the future or to definitively answer this question without knowing what this person was going to be eating on her three days off, I do have some thoughts on this, which I will share now.

NutriSystem Does Have A Program That Still Offer Weight Loss (If Followed Correctly) With 2 Days Off: The person who wrote to me didn't realize this, but NutriSystem already has a plan for people who want to take some time off each week. It's called the flex plan. Most people take advantage of this on weekends, but you can theoretically take any two days. I've heard of pretty good results with this plan as long as you stay within the guidelines on your off days. In other words, you can't just eat whatever you want in any quantity that you want. You can't and shouldn't just eat junk food. Because if you do, then you could jeopardize the work that you have done all week.

When you are on this diet, you lose weight in two ways. First, you are eating more protein and less carbohydrates so your body burns more fat. But you are also taking in fewer calories than you are burning. However, if you take in many more calories than you are burning on your three off days, then, you are compromising those five other days. Let's look at it another way. With the women's plan, you take in around 1200 calories per day. (This is an estimate depending on which meals and snacks you chose.) This is a pretty decent daily calorie deficit for most women. How many calories you burn each day depends on your activity level. However, if you are reasonably active, you should be taking in a good deal less than you are burning if you're around 1200 calories per day. The question of weight loss with taking three days off depends on if you take in enough excess calories on those three days to counteract the calorie deficit you have already created.

It appears that taking 2 days off is definitely possible as many are doing just that on the flex program. But your success with taking 3 days off would likely depend on what you consumed during those 3 days and your activity level also. I have vacationed while dieting and have still lost weight because I stayed pretty active and still made reasonable food choices. Of course, I lost less weight during that week than I would have if I had been in compliance for all seven days. But it's my opinion that you can still lose some weight taking 3 days off if you are careful with your choices and remain active. It likely wouldn't be as much weight as you would lose during seven days of compliance, but many consider taking some time off to be a fair trade for losing a little bit less weight, especially if they don't have aggressive goals and only want to lose reasonable or gradual amounts of weight.

Medifast When You Sleep During The Day And Work At Night: Is It Possible?

I recently heard from a medical professional or worked the night shift regularly. She was interested in trying Medifast but she wasn't sure if it was going to be possible with her schedule. She didn't know if the plan was flexible enough to mix up the meals or to have the dinner at a time when most people are eating breakfast. I really didn't feel that she would have a problem. To demonstrate this, I came up with a sample schedule for someone who begins their work day at 11 pm and leaves work at 7am.

Many people who work the night shift eat dinner with their families. This could work out well because many people prepare and eat their main "lean and green" meal for dinner. So, with a little tweaking, she could still have dinner with her family as usual, as long as she made smart choices. Now, her lean and green meal would count for her first meal. You eat six times daily on this diet. So, before the next night's dinner, we'd have to fit in 5 more meals.

She often took a break at work at around 12:30 am. I suggested that at this time, she think about having a snack like one of the Medifast brownies, chips, a bar, or a shake. This leaves three more meals to go. Her next break was at about 2:30. She may just opt for something easy and quick like one of the fruit drinks or some of the chips. Often, coworkers would try to eat breakfast together at about 5:00 am. That would be a good time to have one of the diet breakfasts like the eggs or pancakes. Most people have a microwave or hot water to make easy work of this, but there is also the option of making your meals ahead of time and then just heating them up. (Of course, this isn't necessary for all of the foods. The ready to drink shakes, the chips, and the bars don't require any preparation at all.) At this point, she would have 3 meals down and 2 more to go. She could grab a coffee, fruit drink, or hot chocolate on the way home from work which would count for one more meal, leaving only 1 more.

Often, she tried to take some time and sit down with her kids before they left for school. That might be a good time to have a bar or something that requires no preparation. She didn't want to consume anything with caffeine because her bedtime happens shortly after the kids leave for school. At that point, she would wind down, have a shower, read the paper, and wait until she was tired enough for sleep. But she would have all six of her meals already consumed. And she would likely sleep until right before dinner, which would then lead off to her next lean and green meal. Hopefully this article has shown you that it's not too difficult to stick to this diet even if you work nights.

Lindsey Price is the author of the free ebook "Getting The Most Out Of Medifast," which includes coupons and discounts, a list of all of the food options (including the shakes,) detailed information about the diet and how it works, it's pros and cons, having success on it, and recipes for it. Will I Be Allowed To Eat Bread Products On Nutrisystem?

I recently heard from someone who asked about having bread on the Nutrisystem diet. She wondered if it would be possible to add in a dinner roll at dinner or to add in some toast with the diet's oatmeal. I'm certainly not a dietician but I can tell you how I interpret the guidelines. The company publishes guidelines that come with your order. You are asked to add in sides with each of your prepackaged meals. They suggest adding in what they call "smart carbs" and "power fuels." This means that all add in items should be nutrient dense and low on the glycemic index. This keeps you feeling fuel for longer and it keeps your blood sugars stable by providing enough fiber and protein.

There are breads suggested within the "smart carb" category, but they are specific types of bread like multi grain, oatmeal, pumpernickel, sourdough, pita, and whole wheat. All of these choices have one thing in common. They are not filled with white flour, sugar, or carbohydrates. So while it probably wouldn't be highly compliant to eat pure, processed white bread, you are going to be fine having a slice of sourdough toast or a dinner roll (as long as its whole wheat or another low carbohydrate option.)

Also, keep in mind that many of the prepackaged meals provided to you include bread items. For example, for breakfast, you have the option of bagels, pancakes, french toast, scones, muffins, and biscuits. For lunch, the burritos, wraps, melts, and quesadillas all include bread with the entrée. For dinner, the fajita and enchiladas are also fair game. Desserts also include brownies and cakes, which might also meet this need.

So to answer the question posed, Nutrisystem is not like a lot of diets that exclude any desserts, breads or carbs. While they do encourage adding in foods that contain fiber, protein, and are low on the glycemic scale, they don't really exclude many foods. It's my perception that they really do want you to learn how to make your own smart choices, which is why they ask you to add in foods with each of their prepackaged meals. Because think about it. If all you ever did was just eat the food that they provided to you, then you'd never really learn how to make good choices at the grocery store. Making good choices and learning to choose the right category of foods does become important once you lose the weight and go off of the diet. Because this skill will allow you to keep the weight off so that you change your lifestyle rather than continuing to be on any diet.

How To Get Glowing Skin Like The Stars

Celebrities and movie stars always look picture perfect with glowing skin and beautiful smile when they are on the red carpet. This beautiful skin tone is something viewers like you covet over anything else. Make up is one answer to the question of how to get glowing skin; but a much better answer is following a balanced lifestyle. When you change your lifestyle for better, your skins health automatically will be better and it will glow from inside without help of any makeup, which many times create more problems for your skin. Getting this lifestyle is also not a hard work; just make some changes and soon people will be asking you tips on how to get glowing skin like you have.

Exfoliate

A build-up of grease and dead skin cells on your face and body is one obstacle to getting a beautiful skin. That is why exfoliate with a mild scrubber every day to remove these dead skin cells and help your dull skin regain its life back. When you exfoliate, it also becomes easy for your skin to absorb those moisturizers and other lotions that you use to make your skin healthier. When you are incorporating this exfoliating routine to your daily skin care beauty regime, make sure you do not overdo it as it can dry out your skin.

Lotions and Masks

To rejuvenate lifeless dull skin, it is very important to use masks and lotions that moisturize it along with rejuvenation. Tight pores, reduced blemishes and smooth skin become a reality when you use skin masks. As for which types to use, buy those lotions and skin masks that have vitamins, herbs and soothing oils in them. After exfoliations, use such lotions and masks for increasing the amount of moisture that will be absorbed by your skin pores. It will replenish the lost oils and make your skin healthy from inside.

Eating Right and Sleep

The answer to how to get glowing skin lies in what you eat and how long you hit the sack. For getting a healthy skin, it is very important that you eat right and sleep well; a fact that many of us either ignores or is unaware of. Go for wholesome drinks and foods and your skin will show the effect of such good lifestyle. Your diet should have Vitamin C rich foods like yellow and red peppers, strawberries, oranges and lemons. Another nutrient for making your skin healthy is Omega-3 and foods that are rich in it are flaxseed, walnuts and sardines. Also important is sleeping right; if you do not sleep adequately, you will have problems like acne breakouts, along with lifeless and dull skin.

Make Up

Make up may not be the best answer to how to get glowing skin, but still can improve your already healthy skin to a great degree. If you have already changed your lifestyle and seeing the result in form of a healthy skin, then use a little bit make up to get that red carpet look you have always wanted. Start with a light bronzer that will increase the gold tone and then even it out with a foundation matching your skin tone. For getting that sun-kissed glowing look without damage from UV rays, use a self-tanner. Lastly, remember to remove these make-ups before going to bed so that you skin pores do not get clogged.

Nightly Skin Care Routine

Your daily beauty regime should have a section for night skin care. The first thing to do before going to bed, is use a deep cream cleanser to remove any sign of make-up and then rinse your face with clean, cool water. Toner should be applied next; choose one that is perfect for your skin type. Use a cotton pad to apply the toner to your face and then use a heavy moisturizer to massage your skin. For the delicate eye area, use an eye cream. Lastly, remove any excess moisturizer from your face with a tissue.

Plant-Based Diet Trends: Digging Down And Grabbing The Hype By Its Roots

What do Mike Tyson, Bill Ford (of THE automotive company), Steve Wynn of Wynn Resorts, Russell Simmons, and former president Bill Clinton all have in common? Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, right? Well, if you guessed they all eat and rally for the benefits of a plant-based diet, you'd be right.

(If you didn't guess that, don't worry, you don't lose any points here...)

Surely, you've noticed that diets like this are currently all the rave and how celebrities seem to be jumping on the bandwagon left and right. But what is all the buzz really about? Is there anything behind the hype, or is it just a fad diet restricted to the world's élite? More importantly, what can this type of diet do for our weight loss goals as well as our overall health and well-being?

A Look At "The Meat" Of A Plant-Based Diet

Just like it sounds, the term "plant-based diet" refers to any kind of diet based largely on plant foods (typically of the fresh variety but sometimes processed plant foods are included as well) and includes cutting back hard on animal products.

But there are a broad range of "plant eaters" out there foraging our supermarkets, and all these herbivore characters eat according to different principles, depending on their health goals and/or eating philosophies.

For instance, veganism is a strict version of this type of diet in which zero animal products are allowed, including dairy. Vegetarians, on the other hand, cut out meat but often happily gobble up milk based products, like cheese, and possibly even feast on a regular helping of eggs.

Then you get the occasional "vegetarian" who makes allowances for small amounts of seafood here and there.

I know a woman who claims to be a vegetarian but eats fish and bacon (if that makes any sense). There's even a term for her unique brand of vegetarianism: Wikipedia defines her as a "semi-vegetarian."

The point, however, is that a plant-based diet is somewhat vague in actual definition and covers a wide range of different eating practices - there are no real hard fast rules besides the general inclusion of lots of plants and avoidance of meat.

Whatever camp of vegetarianism a person chooses to follow, no one can deny that it takes the typical person a certain level of self-discipline to take it up in any of its various forms. Not only because it means no more fat, juicy steaks but also because it requires is a hard charge against the grain in modern society, and it creates quite an inconvenience when shopping, dining out, or eating at the table of a friend.

So why do Mr. Clinton and all these other social superstars even bother? Is it worth the sacrifices, and are the health benefits remarkable enough to make up for the total life makeover it demands?

Let's have a peek.

What's So Good About "Eatin' Your Veggies?"

The plant-based dieting trend as it exists today stems from a growing pool of experts observing something inherently wrong with the Western diet. Study after study notes a plague-like epidemic of chronic diseases in the western world and points out how the rise of these diseases counter-intuitively corresponded with technological advancement (particularly in agriculture).

Others point out how regions of the world where the Western diet hasn't yet caught on, a diet largely associated with economic development, don't suffer the same alarming rates of these diseases. In fact, these diseases (which include obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and many forms of cancer) are often referred to in popular text as "Western diseases."

T. Colin Campbell, co-author of the groundbreaking (and sometimes controversial) book on the subject, "The China Study: Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss, and Long-Term Health," goes as far as to claim that "cancer is a geographically localized disease." He maintains that if you look at a world map, the areas of the world with the highest cancer rates clearly correlate with the areas of the world where protein is a large part of the local diet.

Meat based diets, his camp proclaims, are the villain.

A 40 year veteran in nutrition research, Dr. Campbell maintains that a human diet composed of more than 10% meat leads to a huge rise in cancer risk... period. Not only that, he stresses, but a plant based diet even has the power to heal a body long battered by degenerative disease and restore good health.

And while Campbell is certainly the most active, vocal, and influential of the plant-based diet crowd, he's certainly not the only one.

Another study recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association details how Canadian researchers fed subjects with high LDL cholesterol levels (that's the really, really bad stuff) a diet characterized by plant-based sterols, soy protein, soy milk, soy-based meat substitutes, nuts, and oats.

In the span of 6 months, the subjects saw their LDL levels drop by an average of 13% - a decline that equates to an 11% drop in the risk of a stroke in the next decade.

Another proponent of the diet, Caldwell B. Esselstyn, MD, carried out a twenty year experiment on advanced heart disease patients who were able to not only stop their condition from worsening but completely reverse it in 70% of cases.

And What About Weight Loss?

Great question.

Another great benefit of the plant-centric diets is that they tend to lead to very significant, very consistent weight loss. One of the main reasons for this nice side effect is that red meats, and especially fried foods, are more calorically dense than are water-based foodstuffs like your run of the mill fruits and veggies.

Replace a larger portion of food on your plate with the plants, and the end result is you eat a lot less calories and you lose weight faster. Simple, really.

In fact, one study specifically related to weight loss monitored African American women, a demographic particularly prone to obesity, comparing subjects who ate a largely plant-based diet with those regularly consuming fried foods and red meat. They found the second group put on far more weight over the 14 year study.

The researchers were quick to point out how both groups tended to eat the same amount of food, but the calories were far higher for the second group. So, it was the high-caloric density of meat and fried food that caused the big weight gains.

Do you see where this is going?

Harnessing Your Inner Herbivore

If the plant-based diet makes sense to you but you're not sure if you're disciplined enough to go "cold turkey" on meat, one simple tip for switching over your diet without making it too hard on yourself is to start slowly, with incremental changes.

Try swapping out a few meals a week with vegetarian food choices. Or replace a couple problem products that you use a lot with healthier alternatives, one by one - there are actually some real tasty and convincing meat alternatives out there these days, for example. Another possibility is to pick one or two days a week to "try out" being a vegetarian.

As time goes on, these simple choices can become a regular part of your new, healthier diet, and you'll gain the momentum for more radical changes.

Work some legumes, like beans, into your diet as well. They're high in fiber and protein, and they replace some of the calories you're missing - some dieters find a lag in energy levels when switching to a plant-dominated diet without adding a heavy replacement.

Finally, don't forget about the human tendency to eat the same portions no matter what sits on our plate. Trick yourself by taking up more room on your plate with fruits and veggies, leaving less room for the dangerous stuff.

For ultimate health, 80% of your diet should be composed of "water-based" foods - by that, I mean fruits and vegetables.

Try it and see how you feel.

A Word On Keeping It Simple

As far as how strict your plant-based diet should be, it's really a matter of which of the philosophies you follow and how hard-core you are about personal food philosophy.

Is total veganism the only true plant-based diet? Are vegetarians who eat a little fish and perhaps the occasional red meat dish (gasp) going to vegetarian hell?

It's a personal choice, but here's my take - you won't find many diets out there that don't admit grubbing down on more of those good ole' fresh fruits and veggies and cutting back on the red meat while lowering your calories won't do wonders for your health, your looks, and your waistline.

Be aware of these benefits and take them very seriously.

But before you get too drastic with your new diet plan, acknowledge that a successful diet is a balance between personal priorities, quality of life, and health. And it's completely possible to take up a predominantly plant-based diet without signing over your soul to the veggie garden and completely outlawing cheeseburgers for the rest of your life.

A good diet is maintained through basic guidelines, and an occasional cheat from time to time (once you've got it under control) doesn't make you a bad person or mean you're a traitor of some vague, esoteric clan. After you've established solid eating habits, cheating can even be a good thing sometimes.

Sure, there's a lot of research out there raising some very interesting questions about meat and the potential damage it can do to our bodies (especially in high quantities), but more research is still needed before any absolutes are determined. Meanwhile, just use some common sense.

Michael Pollan probably puts it best in his book, "In Defense of Food," when he sums up his own rules for plant-eating as such: "Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants."

It doesn't' get any simpler than that, and any person out there looking to reap the health and weight loss benefits of a sensible plant-based diet without putting themselves through raw broccoli boot camp would do well to follow his simple philosophy.

Some Simple Facts About the Low Residue Diet

If you have just heard about the low residue diet then you may have just come back from a visit to the doctor. A Low fiber diet is usually recommended to patients who suffer from stomach inflammation or those preparing for a surgery. In a nut shell, this low residue diet is made to reduce the number of bowel movements you have so that the body doesn't have to work as hard as it normally does.

Whilst you will probably lose weight from this diet it is not a healthy long term weight loss solution because of it's lack of fiber. This diet is targeted towards patients with stomach problems. In a normal diet plan we actually consume a number of foods that our body can't digest and this produces excess waste. The low residue diet aims to get rid of these foods momentarily so that your body can rest from it's usual efforts.

Make sure you always check with your doctor on what foods you can and can't eat as part of your diet plan. In general here is a list of foods that you can eat when on a diet such as this: Well ground eggs, meats, chicken or fish, White rice, White bread, some cereals, clear pulp free juices, plain gravies, butter, margarine, mayonnaise, vegetable oils and some dressings.

More important than the foods you should eat is the foods you shouldn't! Once again, be sure to double check with your doctor for your personal diet plan. In general you should avoid these foods: Spicy foods, Fatty meats, popcorn, seeds from fruit, seeds and nuts, raw vegetables (lettuce is ok), chocolate and coco powder, muffins, corn bread, most cheeses, peanut butter, millet, buckwheat, dried beans, oatmeal, whole grains (including whole grain pasta and bread) and legumes.

People that have the following conditions are often recommended the low residue diet:

Mothers during pregnancy - Some mothers in the later stages of pregnancy are put on the low residue diet to ease with stomach pains associated with pregnancy.

Radiotherapy patients - Some patients that under go radiotherapy treatments in the pelvic and/or stomach area can suffer from diarrhea as a side effect. The low residue diet can stop malnutrition, help the diarrhea and also re-hydrate the patient.

If you are suffering from Bowel inflammation - Post surgery inflammation isn't uncommon for stomach surgery patients and a low fiber diet gives the body time to take a rest from processing so hard which gives the inflammation time to die down.

5 Diseases Associated With the Respiratory System

Our respiratory system is very important as it allows us to breathe and to provide us with the air we need to live.

Every disease should therefore be avoided or, if it does occur, treated and eliminated as soon as possible. There are minor diseases that can be treated within a few days and others that need help from a physician or may even require the patient to go to hospital.

Let us talk about the minor diseases that can be treated directly by who is suffering them.

The first is certainly a cold. Once you manifest a cold, do not immediately start to take drugs.

The second disease is a sore throat. It often precedes a cold.

The third is a stuffed nose that makes breathing difficult

The fourth might involve the sinuses.

The fifth is a cough.

There are simple methods that can help so that respiration is again possible without causing any problems. Let us see what you can do in all the above mention diseases. Should the means I am going to indicate not help, seek a physicians advice.

Respiratory diseases can be treated at home but they should not be undervalued. If they are not treated or the home-made treatment is not effective within a few days, they can evolve into something more serious.

If you massage the two points at the basis of your nose, that is between the nose and the eyes,, you open up the energy channels. Then massage the point at the inner end of your eyebrow on both sides, then the point at the center of the eyebrow on both sides, then the point at the outer end of your eyebrow on both sides, then massage the center above the bone, directly underneath your eyes, then the center underneath the bone on your cheeks and finally the point at the center of your chin.

The massage, carried out with your index or middle fingers, should be done softly. If you feel pain when pressing one or the other point, dont massage the point that causes pain. You massage each point three times in a circular way and repeat the whole cycle seven times. You will immediately feel that your breathing becomes easier, that the pain lessens. You can treat the cold, the sore throat, the stuffed nose and the sinuses with these simple and soft movements.

As far as the cough is involved, cup your forearms. This means to tap your forearms with the opposite hand that you form in a cup. Dont tap them hard but do it for some minutes. Do the same on the other forearm. The lung channels run through your forearms. This tapping or cupping of the forearms is also beneficial to the other diseases mentioned above.

For the sore throat there is another means: dissolve some salt in water and use this solution to cleanse your throat. Do not drink the solution, just spit it out after the cleansing. Salt cleanses your throat and helps calm the pain.

The Every Other Day Diet - The Good News and Not So Good News

A lot of controversy over the Every Other Day diet has made its way through different sources online. Since it is probably unbelievable that a diet such as this exists; people have found it harder to believe that it does actually work. Designed by Jon Benson, who claims to be a reformed "fatty" himself, the EODD has become one of the most talked about online diet programs to date. Along with the fame and recognition for this diet, it has gained as much doubts and disbelief among cynical health buffs.

Every Other Day Diet- Those are 4 words that will undoubtedly make you wonder. What does this mean? The Every Other Day Diet circles around the concept that on certain days you are able to consume more than your body needs. You might call it binging, but in this diet plan they are called Feed days. So when does the actual diet start? The answer to that is that it already has. During the feed days, the body consumes a load of calories that will be significant to get you through the Burn days. During the Burn Days, your diet becomes restricted to 300-400 calories. Vegetables, fiber rich options and lean protein are the main attraction on the burn days.

As a result of this caloric cycling, the body's metabolism learns to adapt and catch up to the body's requirements, hence, weight loss.

Just like any other product in the market, there are always the good news and the bad news. The bad news is that the Every Other Day diet requires your complete attention and dedication. The more avidly and diligently it is followed, the more remarkable the results. It doesn't have an all for one effect on everyone who does it half heartedly.

It requires a lot of willpower and discipline during the calorie restrictive days. You cannot get carried away with all the power meals from the Feed days and expect a change. It is completely up to you and so whether this is a bad news or not, it's surely not for the faint of heart. The EODD also greatly recommends to exercise or a strenuous physical activity to help with the caloric cycling and metabolism of the food. More physical activity makes the metabolism work faster thus producing quicker and better results. No couch potato can pull this diet off unless he gets up and gets moving. The EODD alone cannot help you fully maximize your optimal weight loss without you breaking a sweat.

Aside from this, the EODD is an incredibly simple and straight to the point diet program. It also devices the SNAPP diet which allows you to easily remember the basics of losing weight fast. What's the SNAPP diet? Shakes, Nuts, Apples, Protein and Produce! In this order, it helps your body to fully maximize its potential to burn unwanted pounds. It takes 3-5 minutes to create your own meal and this is perfect for those on the go and constantly moving about.

The Every Other Day Diet is probably the most well designed diet plans in the online world of health and fitness to have come out in a long time. And you'd definitely be kidding yourself if you think you could find better.

Hemorrhoid Miracle Review - Just The Facts

This is a Hemorrhoid Miracle review on Holly Haydens downloadable book called Hemorrhoid Miracle. You may have seen this e-book on various websites such as Ask.com, Yahoo!, MSN, and AOL. This book has been getting a lot of attention as of late.

The customer testimonials on the official website have been positively glowing. And there have been numerous independent Hemorrhoid Miracle review articles written by very satisfied customers outside of the site as well. The good reviews just keep on coming for this product.

The general feedback for this e-book is that it is truly able to deliver what it promises. And that is that it can finally give a viable long-term treatment option for this difficult disease. The technique that Holly teaches is the cure that sufferers have been waiting for. And as an added bonus, her method will also be able to do all these in as little as a few days and a maximum of two months.

Piles are the inflammation of the veins in the lower rectum. This could be external or internal. If internal, the inflammation is contained inside the body. If it is external, the vein protrudes outside the anus. In both cases, the symptoms are the same.

First, there is an itching sensation that can be felt. Then there is a tearing sensation when the person is moving bowels. At this time there is much pain. And there is also bleeding. In the case of those with external inflammation, there is the added discomfort of the protrusion. But really, the anxiety, embarrassment, and hassle of this ailment remain the same for both cases.

And to add this dilemma, piles are not an easily treated problem. The common conception is that it is caused by a lack of water and fiber intake. And as a result, the most common initial remedies prescribed by doctors are an increase in water and fiber sources in the diet. When these diet changes dont work the treatment moves on to drugs, ointments, and supplements.

And while these can reduce pile size, the duration of the relief is often very short. In a few months, the agony returns again. And it returns with a vengeance. And when this happens, there is often no other alternative for the patient except for surgery.

Holly Hayden is well aware of this dilemma. And when she researched and created this book it was because she had been stumped by the lack of good options for finding a truly effective and permanent cure for this disease.

That is why this book is a very good knowledge resource for anyone whos looking to expand their choices for finding a lasting cure for piles. I recommend it for anyone whos exhausted all the known medical possibilities. And I recommend it for the new sufferers.

They can get this e-book so they wont have to go through all the dead-end treatments. This Hemorrhoid Miracle review can help them go straight to an alternative that can really work.
